Solid Waste Management

Solid-waste management, the collecting, treating, and disposing of solid material that is discarded because it has served its purpose or is no longer useful. The tasks of solid-waste management present complex technical challenges. They also pose a wide variety of administrative, economic, and social problems that must be managed and solved. Our solid waste staff is just a phone call away, and we do not charge our clients for telephone consultations!

Looking for solutions?

Our team of engineers has provided solid waste services to over a third of the counties and many other industries and cities in North Carolina.

Our dedication to state regulations started with the design of one of the first lined landfills, the first subtitle D Landfill, and one of the first methane migration control systems in North Carolina.

We were first to obtain a Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Permit under Subtitle D Regulations in the state of North Carolina.

“I think actions and words speak for themselves for the simple reason, look at us. We’ve been with them close to 40 years. That ought to tell you something about the company and the business and the people they have working for them. I have never had an issue with Municpal Engineering. They are super to deal with, very responsive, they do a great job. I couldn’t ask for anything better.”
